Marduk

Marduk is a Swedish black metal band. The preferred subjects included in their song lyrics are Satanism, anti-Christianity and the Second World War. It is characterized by being today one of the most iconic bands in their blasphemous lyrics. The name Marduk is the origin of the Bible, a God protector of the city of Babylon. It was originally composed by the following formation: Morgan Steinmeyer Håkansson on guitar, Rickard Kalm on bass, Andreas Axelsson in Vocal and Joakim Gothberg on drums. It was one of the first Black Metal bands from Sweden. Drummer Lars Brodesson Metalmania in 2008. In January 2007 the drummer Emil Dragutinovic left the band after recording the album Rom 5:12, the group was created by Devian Legion, this album confirms the return to a slow black metal, though most of the songs are still fast as in other albums.
